About BCBCF
The Brazoria County Black Chamber of Commerce and Brazoria County Black Chamber Foundation are two non-profit organizations in one that provide advocacy, resources, and support minority-owned businesses and entrepreneurs residing in Brazoria County. Co-founders Melissa Slade, Devin Randon, and Lorenzo Hayes founded the organization in hopes to provide Black business owners and consumers a stronger voice for minority businesses and representation in the community.
Black Chamber of Commerce
The Black Chamber of Commerce has a number of programs and services that help minority-owned businesses succeed. These include:
- Business counseling and training: The Black Chamber of Commerce offers a variety of business counseling and training programs to help minority-owned businesses grow and develop. These programs cover topics such as marketing, finance, and human resources.
- Government contracting: The Black Chamber of Commerce helps minority-owned businesses get government contracts. It does this by providing information about government contracting opportunities, helping businesses prepare for government bids, and advocating for minority-owned businesses with government agencies.
- Networking: The Black Chamber of Commerce provides opportunities for minority-owned businesses to network with each other and with potential customers and partners. These networking events help businesses build relationships, share ideas, and find new opportunities.

Mission
The purpose of The Chamber shall be to promote the development of Black businesses and entrepreneurship by enhancing and expanding opportunities for economic growth in current and future generations.
Vision
To advocate, expand capital, and educate over 300 Black businesses and entrepreneurs in Brazoria County by 2028.
